The Role:

We are looking for a System Administrator to help What If Media Group develop its corporate IT policies and processes and to assist our DevOps team in provisioning infrastructure and accounts for our engineering teams. You will be working out of our headquarters in Fort Lee, NJ, with the option to work remotely two days a week. Come join our fast-growing technology team and help ensure the overall health of our technical environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provision AWS infrastructure and manage access permissions

  • Troubleshoot account and access issues in development, staging, and production environments

  • Monitoring production environments including servers, networks, applications, and security

  • Provide excellent service, effective response times, and expert insights into general and sometimes complex hardware and software support issues

  • Provide on-site and remote support for common hardware and software issues

  • Setup and manage accounts and access for users

  • Manage an enterprise Active Directory deployment

  • Develop and manage MDM, EMM, and/or UEM strategies

  • Plan and execute software migrations and mergers and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Hardware and software asset management

You Today:

Education & Experience

  • 4+ years of prior professional experience in a technical support or system administration role

Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with cloud IaaS systems like AWS, GCP, or Azure

  • Basic knowledge of IaC systems and principals

  • Experience with Active Directory

  • Power-user on Linux, Windows, and macOS

  • Experience with MDM, EMM, or UEM technologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage expectations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
